All prices in USD. Monthly tiers billed monthly; annual tiers billed up-front for the year, equivalent to a 10% discount on the monthly rate. Volume thresholds apply per calendar quarter. Plans automatically prompt an upgrade review when nearing the next tier — you're never charged retroactively.

Pricing questions

What counts as an "inbound shipment"?
An inbound shipment is one Air Waybill (AWB) or one truck arrival, regardless of how many skids or boxes it contains. The shipment count is what's actually received in a quarter — not what's drafted, cancelled, or returned.
What happens if I exceed my tier mid-quarter?
We'll notify you when you hit 80% of your quarterly threshold and again at 100%. There are no automatic over-charges. You can either upgrade your plan (prorated to the day) or finish the quarter and re-evaluate. We never bill retroactively.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — a 14-day full-feature trial with sample data. If you'd rather see EMS against your own real workflow, book a demo and we'll walk through it together.
Are setup, onboarding, or training included?
Standard tier includes self-serve onboarding documentation and email support. Plus and Pro include guided setup with a member of our team. Enterprise includes a dedicated implementation engineer for the first 90 days.
Can I switch plans?
Yes — upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing period. There's no penalty either way.
Where is my data hosted?
All customer data is hosted in Canadian data centres (currently AWS Canada (Central), Montréal). Daily encrypted backups, AES-256 at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit. Enterprise customers can request dedicated single-tenant infrastructure.
What about my customers' portal accounts?
Customer portal accounts are unlimited on every plan — they don't count against the user cap. Each customer can create sub-accounts for their own team with per-section permissions (dashboard, shipments, inventory, orders, reports, documents). Portal users can track shipments, request POs with date preferences, review and revise admin modifications, view invoices, download outbound documents, and submit feedback.
Do you offer SOC 2 / SOX compliance?
SOC 2 Type II is in progress (target Q3 2026). Enterprise customers receive our current internal security report and can request a custom DPA. EMS is built around audit-ready logging from day one — every mutation is captured.
